Buddy was truly a visionary who saw the world not just as it was, but as what it could be. Buddy's people-first values, coupled with a fervent drive to improve the status quo, forged the flame of innovation that launched us as a company.
As a coach, Buddy maintained a unique awareness of the bigger picture; he was just as laser-focused on the future of football and his players' lives off the field as he was on drills and scoreboards. He was a force of nature who has left a lasting impact on many lives. We feel truly honored to have shared the time that we did with Buddy, and will carry the torch forward in his honor.
Always radiating positivity, John Currier was known for his dedication to his research and compassion for those around him. He worked as a research engineer at the Thayer School of Engineering for over 40 years at Dartmouth, and had a profound impact on his engineering students and colleagues through his work.
Currier specialized in orthopedics, eventually collaborating with Dartmouth football coach Buddy Teevens to develop the Mobile Virtual Player. After the Dartmouth football team piloted the product, Currier and Teevens founded the company “MVP Robotics” in 2016.
For those of us who worked with him, John was more than a colleague. He was a beloved friend. We will carry the torch forward in his honor.
